The Summer Icecream

It was a normal hot sunny day of May. Time: around 4pm. Place: a small town in Bihar.

People had wake up from their siesta. Children had started listening, screaming and running towards the bells of icecreamwallah, chanawallah, cholewallahs. I, a kid of age 6, also ran for a cone icecream stall, having pursed in Rs. 1 coin, exact amount for a piece, in my clutched fist.

The icecreamwallah, ringing the bell of his stall, was standing on other side of road. I waited for few bicycles to pass across the road and then crossed. Standing in front of the stall, I Proudly flashed the coin and asked for an icecream. Pouring his hand inside a red-scarved pot, the salesguy took out one metal jacketed cone icecream. He tucked the metal from icecream slowly. Now, the mouthwatering iceacream was sizzling in his hand beating the prevalent coup of sun. The icecreamwallah held out his hand and in no time I grabbed the prized possession. It was a garish colored conical icecream. Planning to share the same with my siblings, I turned back as I had to cross the road again. Staring joyously at the icecream, I forgot the world around me.

I stepped further and what I found was first most grievous loss of my life till then. I was holding only a stick in my hand as a cyclewallah sped blowing off icecream from the stick. Stunned I was only having all future implications going through my mind. The emotional trauma of sudden loss was huge.

Then comes the hand of god, never seen till date by me. The icreamwallah calls me back. I took a step back. He took out another metal-jacketed cone, took out icecream and handed it to me without any charge.

The poor salesguy, who was earning his bread and butter from selling those 1 rs icecream and feeding a family of motherless children (as I knew years later) on margin of hardly 1000rs per month, had all of sudden taught me the gentlest and most moving story of my life.

The lesson, which many books of Budhdha had even not been able to teach me till then.

Years later, I knew his son. He was my classfellow. I helped him through his studies. Today, he is in a public sector company at respectable position. Three years back, Once I was standing on the railway station near my home, waiting for my train. There I saw him calling “sujit, you here!!!” and he told me story of his present life. I tried to sympathise with him for his past. But he told forget those days.

Yes, he should forget those days. But the lesson taught by his father will always be with me. Many a time, I read the Gandhi’s talisman (NCERT books regularly publish it), but find no better practical lesson than this one.

Thats why we celebrate Lord thiru's birthday everytime on someone's
Birthday...
We celebrate his birthday by pouring milk on him..putting bangs on his
back..and ceveral other ways by which lord becomes very happy ..
and gives us some part of oil of ABB Transformer..

we went to a shop.. the shop was a watch shop

I selected a watch which was very big, eb=ven though i didnt like it..

but it was enough for me that he bought something for me..

I bought a 2000 rs watch one day... gave it to my bro..

bought another in 500 rs.. gave it to him

The day i became 26.. i lost the count of day month and years...

30 seemed to be coming the next day..

there was no change in life..

once i myself had fought over the chnges in life... that its not standstill...

but today at 29.75 when i look back at past 3.75 yrs

i feel myself passing days just like that..

It was 24.5 it was 25... everything seemed to go well then.. but its 30 going to be tomoorow or after few days from tomorrow.. but how does it matter...

life is bound in a very hard bound jacket like a book's cover like a cd's cover.. whatever the book may try it ll never come out of the cover... unless someone steals it and puts it a fresh.. but what if the book doesnt want to lose anything either... everything is going to be like that..

He will live a life which was just like that...

Indian tennis has reached suddenly to a new height.

after 11 years again they are in world group of davis cup, this time mostly with the help of Somdevvarman and our doubles players led by Bhupati . But still who is next to play in rest of matches, Yuki bhambri, the 17 yr old Junior Australian Open champ.

Only We can say proudly about future of Indian tennis now.

last time it was 1998, When India could enter world group of Davis cup. In Grandslams, Indian duo paes-bhupati had managed to win two grandslam and missed two finals, heralded history with only duo after a long time to reach the finals of all grandslam. I had witnessed in a few years before that, when they managed to slowly move from round 1, 2 quarters and it was almost sure that they will one day break the supremacy of woodies. and they did. It was sad whatever happened after that between paes and Bhupati.

Just last week it was US Open and we saw both of them fighting against each other for the final cup. Whatever way i would say myself as a global person but i feel had they played from one side, they would have represented our country and India would have won rather than paes or Bhupati. But probaby fate didnt like that.

we love Paes still and We will love him, today again because It was he who made me see beyond cricket during my childhood and is still around battling for country. Sad to miss him in this davis cup.

I had reached the airport and by now had my checkin done. At That moment i had to enter the plane. My friend calls me that he wouldnot be able to arrange any place for me in mumbai. However, Bewildered myself entered the plane and switched off my mobile so as to follow the air traffic rules. I reached mumbai. collected my luggage. It was less than 20 kg and amounted in 3 no of bags.

I have recently got into feeling that evryone in this world on the road is cheating. proving the same point, the boy at the car and hotel rom booking counter first told me minimum per day charge would be 2250/- but after 5 min when i moved away from there he told within 1300/- he can arrange. I walked further. Another guy from shalimar hotel with a fake name on the board which he was holding in his hand got behind me. I can get you a room in 1200/- i persisted on 800/- he told in mumbai you cant get it. He knew that 7000/- people are going to come within today for CFA exam to be held tomorrow. It was very tough to get him away. I wondered whether less than 500/- rooms are available. I know the auto fellows are prime cheaters who come first to call you on the railway station or airport. I listened to them and left them. moved ahead, the airport premises was not going to end. I found another auto fellow to make me reach andheri. Without knowing that Andheri is one of the costliest place, I asked him to make me reach there. The price of a room within 500/- still seemed to be a distant dream. Finally e took me to a home. I saw the rooms there was bed. there was fan there was light and there was space.It was adjacent to parle railway station and within walking distance good market is there. cost - only 350rs per day.

Can you guess without an attached toilet in that room what else was on offer? Should you stay at these places in a new city unknown to you? Rest about how i spent my two days there is only for those on request.

Customer doesnt want to get into contract with supplier, who has not proven themselves fully. Who is wrong!!! Supplier also doesnt have credibility as it has not been able to sell any of its product with full confidence to any of the customer be it Indian army, navy or anyone.. the other part of story - Is indian Defence system is too demanding for indian engineers to develop something like that.

I myself have worked on defence projects with Russian specialists and the way those systems work is truly marvelous. we boast of producing sytems at least cost but have they gone deep inside and aslked them why its cheap. its due to cheap labour.. cheap engineers, who couldnt go to motorola or those who dont want to exert full energy....

The eve when India was rejoicing the 5th win of India-England Series, record consecutive 5th win in a series ever by India.

I was studying in my roomat around 10.20 in night, suddenly my partner told Firing is going on at some places in Mumbai- May be gangwar. I recalled SATYA movie, where they had shown some aspects of Gangwars in Mumbai.It flashed before my eyes. But slowly , we found the ghastly images to be turned. Noone thought it will last for 3 days. The Black three daystill saturday morning.

Indian commandoes and other top officers kept on losing their life. for India. for Us.

Salute to them.

I being a very Emotional person cant put a single photo of the event on my blog. But the pain is etched hard in me. I never felt so sad for firing and killing ever in my life.

It was indeed a great loss for country.

A beauty to watch, An expression to understand, A touching feeling.... Words cant explain a Maestro's Performance.
They just provoke you to reach the highest level of Performance in your own chosen field with Passion....
Started with a performance normally done by dasis for Shiva in south temples, to appease Him. She portrayed the character of a matured lady, who understands love deeply and want to find it out in Shiva. The bhakti mixes here with a love which is all around. In fact dasis used to love their god as their husband. Another Speciality of this performance was that this is the highest form of dance and the peak of her learning.
The next performance was ablut a young immature girl, playing with his boyfriend. saying no to all his request citing reason that its night why u play flute now, why u want to wake up the world now. In this way if people see me they will laugh on me, i will not be able to show my face. What will happen to my dignity. She loves the boy(in fact Krishna) but she plays with him.
the third performance was about Spring, which happened in Autumn in kozhikode.
The last was a spectacular feelng of love towards our mother godddess" Vande Mataram" where she waves hands like bloominmg flowers , the spring.......

the only day that I remember from my Childhood as the most fabulous one when I am happy through out the day, Planning for future, not much thinking of Past is 27th march. you know why!( Need not say)
27th March2008 was also the same. A day When i arrived to Kolkata again from Balasore after the 16th Gun being fired in Chandipur at PXE.
I got ready well. Planned for the future .my tech Plans. Got wild in train over a piece of news that we should go back to the dress sense that our ancestors use at that particular place for thousand of years. where are we going. No NecKtie.It makes you hotter and thereby increases your ac power consumption.which is detrimental to the atmosphere ,leading to further global warming. We should better go for earning process used by our forefathers also rather than running after MBA.sure after sometime it will come.
We are definitely the only one genetically wrong species in the whole world.

when i was working as a product development engineer, i was equipped with my technical knowledge from an engineering college. But now whne i will be graduating to senior engineer post and then deputy manager, I feel myself lacking the knowledge of business management aspects, decision making, risk avoidance and other such things. So i feel tat this is the right time to take a break and just learn it and then go back to job.
Q. So How do u rat eyour company?
I feel its an overall good organisation under the defence ministry (along with DRDO and HAL and Ordnance factories) in its chosen field of electronics and communication. There had been good growth for quite a few years.
Q. So what post you are holding presently.

Since it was a closed environment So We were not looking for quality that seriously. But definitely now in open environment to face challenges,We will come up with better quality products.

Yes Sir, In fact my purpose of doing MBA is that in the end i want to something for state by creating some industry there..education factor can be taken care of by few enthusiatic people gathered for working towards this purpose.. but job creation ,employment is difficult..we have to convince the local leader to give urs a protected area.. areate one industry there .. make it a model for the state and copy it in other parts..

today went for donating blood to vijaya hospital for chitra srinivasan ,QA deptt..but found myself at low BP 73-110, advised for taking proper food…salt and sugar…i will try to take them all…

but really things are difficult to manage in chennai…somehow i want to leave chennai….but cant… i need more effort from my side to be put…

any game played in field(outdoor) is definitely tougher than played indoor games.take cricket for example.here there is 24 yard space for the ball to reach onto the bat.and bowler has heck of time to bowl as he thinks.ya batsman also gets ample time .but then when u are playing against a team like australia which studies your batting style.and they will put the field as per that and will try to bowl also like that.in such a big field you cannot always devise ways to avoid being caught at outfield.
i really sympathise with south africa they played like typical indian team.
putting it more accurately like the team india playing in 2003 world cup final.

reading neerad chaudhary's biography of an unknown indian reminded me of the things of past. thinkng of starting a new blog based on my personal experiences of past and present.or to use this one itself.
on close scrutiny based on the time to be spent on each blog , the puported inability to classify topics among blogs, and the final appearance of each blog, i came to the conclsion of having one blog itself with some points daily for the past experiences. later on i can cut and paste them to a separate piece of paper.

as the end of summer was looming large when it became more and more hotter and unbearable.the classes were to start after the summer and the days of spending the afternoon taking nap on the chatai(mat) would be over. but still the morning classes would be there.leaving us to return back to home early in the afternoon. the nights under the unfathomable sky and uncountable stars would becoming just too boring. and reading in night would become more and more difficult. the clouds would one day from east side fill the sky and give us a small rain. but this time it would be a stormy rain. but what we enjoyed most like many other north indians often written too descriptively was the smell sondhi mehak of zameen.
the storm would carry all the empty polythene packs with it to high in the sky and then again drop it back. the old mango trees would just be enjoying the storm but it was not good for the new oneswho had to bow and bend and do what not exercise.

I like English movies probably yes..because of thear good presentation, getup, story. but no songs also impresses me. but you change the theme its all changed.ya i like hindi movies for its song sequence too.

hi to all
i am in bangalore today.iisc a nice place the walls are ok but the ground seems to be brought from any village .some house of some old big guns of the village (zamindars's house) .one of such was my grandfathers.
but the climate is really cool.
but iis it so that the old ones dont want to change.
may be thats why they are called old.
i hoped they may not be liked that they are the professors of iisc but they are still with classic control methods not going for neural network and fuzzy controls.
